| I'm an avid fan of Claudy Conn's books and have loved them all and this one is no exception.
Arabella Cullingham (Bella) is being taken by her brother, Sir Brentley (Brent) Cullingham, to have her season in London to overcome her doldrums. Bella and Brent are very close and Brent feels bad because it was a friend of his that broke Bella's heart. On the way, she almost runs into Shaun Standon's (10th Earl of Magadalen, a handsome and wealthy rake) curricle. He's quite taken with her and since she is unchaperoned, he's under the impression that she is a courtesan. She's quite taken with him but doesn't like his attitude so she doesn't correct his impression of her. Oh boy the sparks fly and the adventure begins!!
Loved all the secondary characters-especially Brent and his friend, Doyle, they are so cute and love their hijinks. Then there is Bella's new friend Rose and Bella's friend and neighbor, Jimmy. There are many things going on in this book, adventure, sexy romance, drama and some belly laughing parts!! You have to read this one, it's quite a fantastic romp and it will make your day so much brighter!!
