Wyatt Quinton knows he has a mate. They met when he was seven; he’s sure of it. But his family – wanting him to grow up before worrying about a mate – finally convinces him that he just imagined the whole thing. So Wyatt takes a chance at love, dating the beautiful and available Sebastian Price.

When one of Sebastian’s bad ideas lands Wyatt in hot water, he's given community service at the Seattle Fire Department where hard-nosed boss Preston Dalton seems to be out to get him. Wyatt can’t stand him - but something about the tall, blond-haired, brown-eyed man has Wyatt fighting an internal fire. When he develops feelings for Preston, he’s beyond confused. Werewolves get one mate for life - so why does he want Preston Dalton when he’s sure he has a mate somewhere?

Secrets and betrayals of trust complicate everything. Can Wyatt and Preston come together as they were meant to be? Or will a broken trust and deception keep them apart forever?

I have been blessed in this life to not only have parents that support me, but kids that do as well. I grew up in a loving but "Old School" French household. My parents worked for the airlines (TWA) so I was able to see a lot of Europe as a kid. I moved to Seattle Washington at the age of 22 and stayed there for twelve years before moving to Alaska for a little over two. Fairbanks, AK was one hell of an experience and I wouldn't hesitate to go back! I spent a little over a year in South Carolina before moving back to Arizona. I then left for Kansas for five years and now reside in the South for another two years. I've been married to the military in one way or another for over half my life and wouldn't change a thing about it. Writing has become my fulltime job and I've never been so happy doing a job I love and being able to do it in my jammies. I plan on writing until I dry up and die. Hopefully, that won't happen soon!

This 9th book in the series is a heart tugging sexy read. I loved that we have been following Wyatt's growth from an adorable pup to a sexy young man. This is one of the reasons I love this series. It did not stop with 4 or 5 books. It keeps growing and evolving like the greatest soap opera or your favorite TV series. I also love that it is not just one story line. There are a bunch of them and they flow seamlessly in the background while an amazing love story unfolds in front of you.
Wyatt Quinton is a born werewolf. When he was 7 and there was trouble from another pack, a white wolf covered his scent and protected him. He knew it was his mate, but his family tried to convince him it wasn't. He thought he was going crazy at times.
Preston Dalton was ignored and mistreated by his parents for being gay. He ran around with his two friends who were in the same boat. One night when they were 11 or 12, they went to a party. They got drunk and passed out and when they awoke, some older guys were trying to rape them. They fought, but then their attackers shifted and bit them. Once they were turned, they ran away and ended up joining Carson's pack. When he was 13, he protected Wyatt, and found his mate.
When Wyatt turned 18, Preston was going to let Wyatt know they were mates. He had kept it a secret because he was so much older and he couldn't be around because he needed to let Wyatt become an adult because he could not stomach the sexual thoughts he had for the younger man. But when he went to tell him, Wyatt was with Sebastian. So he waited until Wyatt got in trouble because of his boyfriend and was sentenced to working at the firehouse under him. He wanted Wyatt to love him for him, not because they were mates. But would Wyatt ever forgive him for not telling him who he was? When tragedy strikes, can Wyatt get past the betrayal? And what were Wesley and Tucker going to do when they find their mates and they are both straight? Could fate really be that cruel? Grab this book and find out all the answers to this and so much more! This book is filled with everything that makes a book great. I loved that this book takes a lot of twists and turns, and with every new book in the series, we learn more and more about the characters we have come to love.
