Readers that liked The DaVinci Code will love Realm of the Unknown by James B. McPike. I was hooked on this book from the first page. While the book is not necessarily centered on the Church itself, it does deal with a religious artifact. This book if full throttle action, starting with a town getting massacred) to the very end (where the whole world is in danger).
I love a book that keeps you guessing to the end. I had a suspicion on who the killer was, but was still surprised at the end. The close calls and near deaths will have you believing in the supernatural. I would love to see a series about Vince and April. They make an awesome team and I could see them getting into all kinds of scrapes.

I give this book 5 stars because it was so good, that I blocked out everything I was supposed to be doing just to finish the book. Then I was mad because the book was over. I do not see this book disappoint any reader that chooses to pick it up.
