Chloe’s newfound love for Skye grows more and more every day. Never before has she been so enamored by someone. Could that be a bad thing for her though? With all thoughts of Skye and still recovering from her recent attack, Chloe is distracted. Her recently acquired tunnel vision only allows her to see Skye and she misses all the details of the things going on outside her hospital room.

Skye’s love for Chloe becomes stronger every day and so does his instinct to protect her. With Todd still on the loose, the roses that keep appearing on Chloe’s apartment door, Tom’s odd behavior and Sarah missing, Skye is determined more than ever to never leave Chloe’s side. Will Skye’s determination to protect her from Todd, her friends, and even herself be their undoing?

More Than Friends by Tabetha Thompson picks up where The Friend Zone leaves off. This installment will have you on the edge of your seat and experiencing the same emotions as those of the characters. You will find yourself pulling for Chloe as she struggles to come back and feel her friends’ heartbreak as they learn of a betrayal. Lives are at risk as they work to uncover how deep the betrayal goes. This is one of those stories that when you are done, you look for the closest person to tell them about it (yes, I did it to my son).
One of the things I loved most about this book, and the one before it, is that it is written from Skye’s and Chloe’s POV. It seems to give a deeper meaning and understanding to the events that take place. I give this book 5 stars*****. This book had my heart racing on more than one occasion and I hope that this is not the end of the series. I have fallen in love with these characters and they feel like friends.
