Over 100 years of honor and commitment to his ancient clan’s Guard have made Rayne the fearless leader all are proud to follow into battle. When the long foretold pull of his mate makes the calm, cool and collected Commander fall from the sky will he be able to save his mate from his enemies in time?
The chemistry between this strong-willed curvy girl and fierce warrior makes all the difference in the world where nothing is as it seems. The existence of an ancient race of honor-clad, tradition-bound protectors might be hard to accept but now the dead are coming back to life and holding a knife to her neck.
The Universe made her for him now it’s up to them to stay alive long enough to live happily ever after.

Julia Mills
Mom of two rockin' girls, Reader of everything, Author of The Dragon Guards series and many more surprises to come!
I am a sarcastic, sometimes foul-mouthed, not afraid to drink a beer, always southern woman with 2 of the most amazing teenage daughters,
a menagerie of animals and a voracious appetite for reading who recently decided to write the storied running through her brain. I read my first book, Dr Suess' Cat in The Hat by myself at 4 and was hooked.
I believe a good book along with shoes, makeup and purses will never let a girl down and that all heroes of all the books
I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy! I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
I am still working on my story but believe it will contain all of the above with as much SPICE as I can work into it.

I was provided this book in exchange for an honest review.
I will say getting into this book was a little difficult at first. The author is VERY descriptive and that really takes some getting used to. The characters are easy to connect with, and the world building was soild, and interesting.
The romance is level 10 HOT! I really loved the idea of the dragon shifters, and was not at all disappointed. The main character Kyndel was very entertaining and funny. Her internal monologue was very amusing and laugh out loud funny at some points.
I truly think the books will get better and better with each addition.
