Sassy:  What got you into writing / what made you sit down and actually start something?
Author K.R. Brown: I have always loved to write every since I was in middle school around the age of 12-13. My mind was all racing with ideas so I wanted to put them down on paper. I never dreamed I would get this far.
Sassy:   Are you a planner/panster when it comes to writing a story?
Author K.R. Brown : I would be a panster. It is like the story just flows through me.
Sassy: What has been your highlight since becoming a published author?
Author K.R. Brown : Seeing someone reading my book. I still don't believe it has happened.
Sassy: What do you do in your spare time?
Author K.R. Brown  : Crafts, read and deal with my two kids.
Sassy:   Do you get writers block? If so, how do you overcome it?
Author K.R. Brown: I think all writers get the block from time to time. I listen to music, read and try not to think to much on what I am writing.
Sassy:   Can you share a little of your most recent book or series with us?
Author K.R. Brown : I have Twisted Destiny coming out on the 19th of this month. It is the last book in the Twisted Fate Series.
Sassy:What advice would you give for new authors?
Author K.R. Brown : Don't give up because it seems to hard. Also look at what others are doing and try to find some great friend in authors that are out there. We aren't going to bit!
Sassy:  What is one thing about yourself you want your readers to know?
Author K.R. Brown  I am a very easy going person. I love to hear from fans and help out everyone. I have been told I wear my heart on my shirt sleeve.
Sassy: Who is your favorite author and what is it that really strikes you about their work?
Author K.R. Brown : I don't think I really have a favorite author. I read so many books. I have a few that I have read a few times and it is the way they can bring the characters to life. To show the raw emotions in the books.
Sassy: What books have most influenced your life most?
Author K.R. Brown : The giving tree is the one that has most influenced me. I read that book and it really touched me. I wanted to be that person and give to others.

KR brown books
Author K.R. Brown : I designed and created all of my book covers.
Sassy: Do you think that the cover plays an important part in the buying process?
Author K.R. Brown : Yes i believe that if the cover doesn't look good then most will put the book back. I know that they say don't judge a book by it's cover but the truth is we all do that.
Sassy:  What are your thoughts on good/bad reviews?
Author K.R. Brown : I don't really like reviews because so many want to bully authors. Good reviews are great and I love the fans that have given them to me. The bad reviews just seem to rip out my heart.

1 (14oz) can of chicken broth
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon white pepper
2 cans of Cream of Potato Soup
1/2 pound of Velveeta Cheese, Cubed
Steam the broccoli and let stand until needed. In a large saucepan, melt margarine and add spices. Add flour, stir: then gradually add half and half, chicken broth and seasonings. Don’t let this come to a boil. Add chunks of cheese and heat while stirring, until cheese is melted. Add cooked broccoli. (You can chop up if you wish). Serve piping hot. Serves 4 to 6.
