I am officially addicted to this series! These stories are just so interesting, gut-wrenching, and wonderful, it is impossible not to fall in love with shiv crew! Just when I thought they could not possibly get any better, book two in the series blew my mind. If you try to guess what will happen next, you are wasting your time. Each time I thought I knew what was going to happen, I was completely wrong. I love the unpredictability of these books. I did find myself wondering what took me so long to find this amazing author.
As Rune is adjusting to her life as a known Other and getting treatment for her mental health, back home, shiv crew is changing as is the leadership in law enforcement. Plus, the berzerker has been gone. When he returns, Rune's world gets turned upside down. He came back with more than she could have expected.
