Maggie York, a convent-raised foundling, knows the Duke of Dunwoody’s sexual tastes are a shade or two darker than normal, but marries him anyway—partly because she has no other prospects and partly because, try as she might, she can’t seem to stop fantasizing about her dashing guardian.

Two years ago, a voyeuristic experience involving him lured her from the garden of innocence into the orchard of forbidden fruit and she's been hungry for more ever since.

Robert Armstrong, the duke, is a Roman Catholic whose extreme devotions as a child colored his desires as a man. He’s also a slave to the times in which he lives--and to his king. Everything he is, everything he holds dear, depends on staying in Charles II’s good graces.

Unfortunately, Maggie isn't the king's choice of brides for the young Duke of Dunwoody. Now, to make amends, Robert must choose between the lesser of two evils: whore his wife or be reduced to a penniless commoner.

Whose interests will Robert choose to serve, his own, the king’s, or the woman he loves?

Nina Mason is a hopeless romantic with strong affinities for history, mythology, and the metaphysical. She strives to write the same kind of books she loves to read: those that entertain, edify, educate, and enlighten. Her genres include paranormal, historical, and erotic romance, as well as political thrillers.

Born and raised in Southern California, she now lives in Woodstock, Georgia, with her husband, youngest daughter, two cats, and a Westie named Robert.

She will launch two new series' in 2015: Royal Pains, an erotic historical romance trilogy, and the Knights of Avalon, an erotic paranormal/fantasy series in four parts.

Being raised in a convent has confused Maggie's feelings about God ,sex and sin
The Duke of Dunwoody was also raised in a way that has engendered unconventional desires and attitudes. Maggie encounters the duke at a young age and never forgets him. When she is older she again happens upon him in the throes of passion with another. What seems cruel methods arouse her and she does not know what is happening. Watching arouses both Maggie's curiosity and sexuality. Later, Maggie accepts the duke's marriage proposal--and the real fun begins. Devil in Duke's Clothing will take you back in time and into the story of a man and a woman meant to be together and teach each other what life means. It may seem at first that the duke is the teacher, BUT you will soon see that the learning is mutual. Together, they face many things. Nina's attention to historical detail is remarkable in this book. Yes, it is brimming with sex and lust, but the surrounding story and characters are great. Devil in Duke's Clothing is a solid-gold five-star must read!

here is a little taste

Thrilling shivers went through Maggie as she sought evidence among the folds of his kilt. She detected only what she already knew. As gentlemen went, the duke was tall and well-knit with chiseled features and thick brown hair that spilled over his broad shoulders in luxurious waves. Was it as soft and silky as it appeared? Her fingers ached with the urge to touch it—and not for the first time.
